“People usually seek out a photographer to document a milestone, a momentous occasion, or even just the everyday life of their family. I am honored right down to the ground to be entrusted with such precious memories.” – Mamie Spechter

Studio 64° North

Mamie Spechter is the Eyes and Vision behind Studio 64° North Photography and an It’s a Lab Thing LABfan. She posted a picture of two Frosty Labs that was absolutely picturesque. Mamie’s style is hard to ignore and even more proof that like Labrador’s and Snowflakes, photographers have their own unique personality and style of their own.

Animal Rescuing Efforts

Studio 64° North is based out of the chilly Tundra of Fairbanks, Alaska. Mamie supports the Rescuing efforts of Pet Harbor Animal Rescue and Fort Wainwright Stray Animal Facility and advocates adopting a furry friend into your family.

I want to thank Mamie for sharing her work with It’s a Lab Thing. Hopefully this is just the tip of the iceberg and we will get to see more of her work. In the mean time, I will just have to wait patiently.

These photos caputred the essence of the Lab spirit. The eyes are truly the windows of the soul and these dogs have sweet, loyal souls. Mamie Splechter is a proven photographer with an unusual eye for a unique perspective on what others my see as ordinary. She then puts her spin on it to be amazing.
